Senior Full Stack Developer - Java

Amplify Systems is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our technology team. Amplify provides advanced real estate technology platforms powering Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), brokerages, and real estate organizations across North America. Our platforms manage large-scale, real-time real estate data and deliver modern tools supporting listing management, search, integrations, analytics, marketing automation, AI-driven capabilities, and digital transformation across the industry. We are looking for a true full-stack engineer with deep experience building both robust backend systems with Java and Spring Boot and modern web applications with React and TypeScript. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable working across a mature, distributed software platform. You should be able to understand complex systems, diagnose difficult problems, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of your work from development through production. We operate highly available cloud-native environments where reliability, performance, resiliency, observability, security, and the ability to safely deploy and recover from changes matter. Artificial Intelligence is also an important part of our technology strategy. We actively use AI-assisted development tools within our engineering workflows and are building AI-enabled capabilities into our products and platforms. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate brings deep experience across both sides of our core application stack. We are looking for a full-stack engineer who can work confidently across the architecture rather than specializing exclusively in either frontend or backend. Relevant experience includes: * Deep professional experience with Java and Spring Boot * Deep professional experience with React and TypeScript * Building and maintaining APIs and distributed backend services * Designing and implementing complex, production-grade web applications * Relational database design, SQL, and performance optimization * MySQL and/or PostgreSQL * Designing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems * Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native application development * Automated testing, build, and deployment pipelines * Infrastructure as Code * Application security and secure development practices * Diagnosing production issues and performance problems * AI-assisted software development and/or integration of AI capabilities into applications Experience across both Java/Spring and React/TypeScript is central to this role. We are particularly interested in engineers who are comfortable moving between backend services, APIs, databases, and modern frontend applications as the problem requires.
