Hospitalist - 7 on/7 off, Open ICU, Visa Support
**Opportunity Overview:**This position offers a rewarding chance to provide care in a community-driven environment with a manageable patient workload, complemented by robust subspecialty support.**Position Details:**As a Hospitalist, you will:- Deliver inpatient care following a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM).- Conduct daily rounds on a caseload of approximately 12–15 patients per physician.- Manage patient admissions and respond to rapid response situations/codes.- Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU framework, with 24/7 consult availability.- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, while documenting findings in Paragon EMR.- Coordinate care with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Engage in a collaborative Hospitalist team managing a collective patient census of 40–50 daily.- Note: No on-call responsibilities required.- Practice in a non-trauma facility with a solid healthcare infrastructure.**Qualifications:**- Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; new graduates are encouraged to apply but must complete residency beforehand.- Must achieve Board Certification within a two-year timeframe from the contract start date.- A valid New York medical license is required or a commitment to obtaining one.- Candidates must possess a clean malpractice and licensure history.- Certifications in DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.- Visa support is required for the provider.- Willingness to work full-time with a 7 on / 7 off schedule is essential.- Comfort in an open ICU environment with intensivist collaboration is required.**Certification Requirements:**- ACLS- BLS- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine- DEA- PALS**State License Requirements:**- New York medical license required.This position is tailored for individuals ready to thrive in a supportive, patient-focused setting while meeting the outlined qualifications.
