DescriptionWe are seeking a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner to join Iredell Health System in Statesville, North Carolina to join our team caring for patients at our Behavioral Health Hospital. The position offers potential growth to outpatient services with anticipated development of a psychiatry residency program.ResponsibilitiesUtilize advanced treatments cutting-edge therapiesPerform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance-use disordersDeliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric careCollaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomesMaintain accurate and compliant documentation standardsRequirementsGraduation from an accredited school of nursing with MSN or DNPCertified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Active or eligible for license in the NCExperience or strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient settingsProfessional Growth – opportunities for leadership, research, and teachingStrong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to careSuccessful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to program expansion and medical education
