Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Position Overview: Join as a Locum Tenens Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery. Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide coverage near BLUE EYE MO. Job Details: Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Shifts: Inpatient and Outpatient (8 am to 4:30 pm) Call Hours: 24-hour shifts EMR System: Epic Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical care. Assist with surgeries and OR procedures. Attend to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and follow-ups. Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals. No admissions required. No vascular surgery cases. Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Approximately 8-10 patients per day. Main focus on surgery and OR call coverage. CT surgery practice, no vascular surgery cases. No admissions by PA/NP, but H&P responsibilities. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation. Coverage for allowed holidays.
