Insurance Servicing Agent II

DescriptionThe Insurance Service Agent II proactively contacts members to improve policy retention and services existing insurance policies, processing and following up on requested changes and updates.Job Duties:Proactively contacts members to discuss and present policy renewal options with the goal of improving policy retentionAssess members’ insurance needs and educate members on insurance policies and coverage options in order to deepen the member relationship through cross sell and referral opportunitiesConduct policy reviews on in-force policies and advise on additional coverages and policies as neededProactively contact Agency Billed Policies to review and present renewal offerIdentify opportunities to refer members to partner services to meet the member’s financial needsRespond to underwriting information requests on in-force policiesResolve complex billing issues by following up with insurance carrierMaintain up-to-date electronic client files in compliance with agency and regulatory requirementsMay partner with an estabished Sales Agent to provide a streamlined customer experienceServe as a subject matter expert and resource for the teamAttend underwriting-related meetings and disseminate updates to the teamProvide dedicated support to First Tech employee policy holdersEssential Skills:Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Insurance industry (Insurance Sales experience is preferred)Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to reach sound decisions and guide clients based on individual risk tolerancesEffective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently prioritize workload and meet deadlinesFoster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to communicate the value of insurance to clientsUp to date knowledge of insurance industry trends, products/services, procedures and policiesProficiency with basic to complex mathematical calculationsUp to date knowledge of insurance industry trends, products/services, procedures and policiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Certification/License: Property & Casualty license required, Life & Health license preferredMinimum Education: High School DiplomaLocation: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $60,348 - $72,227 + monthly incentivesBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodPaid Time Off: You’ll accrue up to 15 vacation days in your first year.
