A healthcare system in New York City is looking to add a new, licensedGastroenterologist to one of their facilities. About the Opportunity:Setting: Inpatient (90%) & Outpatient (10%)Shift:DaysSchedule:7 on, 7 off Responsibilities:TheGastroenterologist will be responsible for: Examining & obtaining medical history and treating acute &chronic illnessesOrdering, performing,and interpreting diagnostic testsCreatingtreatment plansand involvingpatients &family members in those plansInitiatingappropriate specialty referralsCollaboratingon the improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians and staffWorking with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirementsProvidingeducation for residents, medical students, nursing and other allied health professionsParticipatingin Committees as requested by the Chief Medical Officer and/or Chairman of Medicine.
