Job Description Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanorPerform all guest check-in and check-out proceduresObtain or confirm guest information, assign rooms, activate and distribute keys, etc.Collect payment for room charges and other feesAnswer phonesCheck and send emailsMake and confirm reservationsMaintain a clean and tidy work space at all timesInform guests of hotel amenities and offeringsBe informed and up-to-date on all types of room accommodation and availabilityCommunicate with housekeepingProvide local information on restaurants, special sites, activities, etc.Resolve customer complaints and problems calmly and effectivelyNotify management of any serious issues that you cannot resolveMaintain a friendly, personable dispositionPerform various clerical tasks as neededFront Desk Agent Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferredPrevious experience in customer service and/or hospitality industry preferredExperience using hotel booking software a plusComputer literate and proficient using Microsoft SuitePersonable and outgoing when dealing with guestsProfessional phone demeanorExcellent customer service skillsAbility to maintain calm, polite, and patient in stressful situationsOrganized and detail-orientedAbility to connect with guests and consistently give them a positive customer experienceMust be able to work 40+ hrs a weekCompany DescriptionWe are a 34 room independent motel in Downtown Eugene.
