Project Manager
The Project Manager leads the execution of high-end, custom residential millwork projects from contract award through final installation. This role manages complex, detail-driven work for luxury homes, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, seamless coordination, and an elevated client experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical millwork knowledge with polished client-facing skills and the ability to manage multiple bespoke projects simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ExecutionManage luxury residential millwork projects from kickoff through close-outDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plansCoordinate all phases including design development, engineering, fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installationProactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain schedule, quality, and budgetClient, Designer & Architect CoordinationServe as primary point of contact for homeowners, interior designers, architects, and buildersLead project meetings and provide clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycleManage scope changes, upgrades, and change orders with discretion and transparencyDeliver a white-glove client experience aligned with luxury residential expectationsTechnical & Production OversightReview architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material selections for accuracy and intentCollaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and execution of complex detailsResolve technical challenges related to custom joinery, specialty finishes, and high-end hardwareCoordinate field measurements and site conditions critical to residential installationsBudget & Schedule ControlTrack project costs, labor, and material expendituresEnsure profitability while maintaining uncompromising qualityManage billing schedules, deposits, and milestone invoicingCommunicate schedule impacts clearly and proactivelyQuality & Installation ManagementUphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finishConduct quality reviews throughout fabrication and prior to installationCoordinate installation sequencing with builders and other tradesOversee punch list completion and final client acceptanceRequired Qualifications5+ years of project management experience in high-end residential millwork or custom cabinetryDeep understanding of luxury residential construction, millwork materials, and finishesAbility to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawingsProven experience managing complex, one-of-a-kind residential projectsStrong client-facing communication and relationship management skillsExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilityProficiency with project management tools and scheduling softwarePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldExperience working directly with luxury homeowners and high-profile designersKnowledge of CNC fabrication, millwork engineering, and custom hardware systemsFamiliarity with production tracking or ERP systemsWork EnvironmentOffice, manufacturing facility, and high-end residential job sitesRegular coordination with designers, craftsmen, and installation teamsNational travel to job sites as required
