Our clients include a vast array of industries like restaurants, authors, florists, therapists and other professionals, apparel brands, and more. Role DescriptionWe're looking for a graphic design student intern for the summer with a possibility of a long term role. This is a remote, contract role. We'll give you assignments and deadlines, you complete the project on your own schedule. You'll receive feedback and valuable experience in graphic design and marketing work, and will be working directly with the co-founders of Firecracker Creative. The Graphic Design Intern will assist in creating visually compelling graphics, designing logos, and developing branding materials. Day-to-day tasks include creating social media graphics for both clients and Firecracker's social media, assisting our creative director with logo design and brand creation projects, collaborating with our small creative team, and contributing ideas to our design and strategy sessions. The intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that highlight their creativity while supporting small business growth.QualificationsCurrently or recently a Graphic Design, Marketing, or related major.Experience with Branding and Logo DesignSkills in Image Editing and related software toolsStrong attention to detail and a portfolio showcasing creative projectsKnowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Canva.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environmentPassion for design and an eagerness to learn and contribute
