Substitute Childcare Teacher

Responsibilities: - Follow lesson plans provided by the lead teacher and ensure a structured learning environment - Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects, including special education, preschool, literacy education, math, and autism - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students - Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Manage student behavior and enforce school policies - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction Skills: - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff - Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches - Patience and empathy when working with students with diverse learning needs - Knowledge of childhood development principles and educational strategies Note: This job description is for substitute teachers who may be assigned to various age levels (ages 1-12).
