The software you develop will drive company efficiency by streamlining and automating existing processes. This is a startup-like position that requires the determination to learn processes quickly and also demands flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects across departments.The Entry-Level Software Developer WillExpand and refine their skill set in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and Embedded C.Maintain, document, and enhance the company’s internal software suite with impactful new features.During your first year of employment, you can expect to:Attain advanced (potentially certification-level) proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and HTML.Strengthen and refine your debugging skills.Embrace DPS coding standards and department procedures.Complete and deploy 3 or more major projects that drive measurable impact across the DPS software suite.Qualifications And ExperienceStrong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CWorking knowledge of Arduino and/or Raspberry PiAbility to type 45+ WPMProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)High School Diploma or equivalent (required)Previous professional experience is a plusMust-HavesCommitment to a results-driven mindsetFlexibility and adaptability for multiple cross-departmental projectsStrong oral and written communication skillsRapid learning capabilityExceptional attention to detailStrong work ethic and sense of accountabilityExcellent problem-solving skillsProven ability to meet deadlines consistently
