Materials Planner / Buyer

Success at VEZA is driven by accountability, technical understanding, and strong cross-functional collaboration.Position SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Buyer to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels and production schedules. This role combines tactical purchasing with material planning responsibilities to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery to customers. This role helps maintain strong supplier partnerships, supports company quality standards, and contributes directly to operational efficiency and cost management.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels into actionable supply plans.Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials.Track and update order status, ensuring timely delivery and addressing delays.Research and select vendors, negotiate rates, and coordinate deliveries.Communicate and manage supplier relationships and commitments. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for cost, quality, and service. Support cost reduction goals and maintain favorable pricing metrics.Uphold company quality standards and handle urgent procurement needs.
