Operating across DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and wholesale, we are a profitable, fast-growing business with a passionate community at our core.The RoleThe VP of Marketing is the senior-most marketing leader at Gymreapers, responsible for owning and scaling the entire marketing function across:Brand & CreativePerformance & Growth MarketingLifecycle (Email/SMS/Retention)Social, Content & CommunityCreator & PartnershipsPR & CommunicationsThis is a player-coach role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will partner directly with the CEO and executive team to drive brand equity and profitable growth across all channels.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & CreativeOwn and evolve the Gymreapers brand across all touchpointsLead creative strategy across paid, organic, and lifecycle channelsBuild and manage an integrated campaign calendarMaintain a high bar for creative quality and brand consistencyPerformance & Growth MarketingOwn DTC growth across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon AdsManage full-funnel performance (MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS)Drive testing culture across channels and creativesOwn marketing budget and P&L in partnership with FinanceLifecycle & RetentionBuild and scale email, SMS, and loyalty programsImprove retention, repeat purchase rate, and LTVDevelop segmentation and personalization strategiesSocial, Content & CommunityLead organic social strategy across key platformsScale creator, athlete, and ambassador programs into revenue channelsStrengthen community engagement and brand affinityOwn PR, brand storytelling, and cultural momentsEcommerce & GrowthPartner with Ecommerce on conversion rate optimization (CRO) and PDP strategyLead go-to-market strategy for product launchesSupport international expansion effortsLeadershipBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing teamManage agencies and external partnersCollaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Operations, and EcommerceWhat You Bring12+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role (VP/CMO level)Experience scaling a DTC or omnichannel consumer brand ($150M+ preferred)Deep expertise in performance marketing and ecommerce growthStrong understanding of key metrics: MER, CAC, LTV, ROAS, attributionProven ability to lead both brand and performance marketingExperience building and managing high-performing teamsBackground in fitness, strength, or athletic apparel industriesExperience scaling creator/ambassador programs into meaningful revenue channelsInternational expansion experience (UK, EU, Canada, Australia)Experience with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Triple Whale/NorthbeamExperience in founder-led or high-growth private companiesBenefits/Perks:Competitive PayCompany paid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Gymreapers on-site gym!Newly renovated HQ!401(k) with up to a 4% employer matchLife Flight Program, VoluntaryEmployee Assistance Program50% Employee Discount 100% Employer Paid: Medical, Dental and Vision100% Employer Paid: Short-term and Long-term disability - life insurance for both employee and spouse/dependentsHealth Savings Account (HSA) employee optionGymreapers LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
