Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Workday Developer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, HR systems, and automation. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations between Workday and various internal/external systems using Workday studio.Key Responsibilities● Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations (inbound/outbound)● Develop integrations using:○ Workday Studio○ Core Connectors (REST/SOAP)○ EIB, Cloud Connect● Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions● Integrate Workday with systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, and third-party SaaS tools● Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and failures● Implement data transformation, mapping, and error handling strategies● Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are followed● Maintain technical documentation and integration architecture diagrams● Support Workday releases and regression testingRequired Qualifications● 7+ years of experience in Workday integrations and development● Strong hands-on experience with:○ Workday Studio○ EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)○ Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)● Experience building end-to-end automation workflows and APIs● Strong understanding of HRIS and Finance systems integration● Proficiency in:○ XML, XSLT, JSON○ Web services (REST/SOAP)● Experience with authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, etc.)● Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills● Experience in enterprise SaaS environments● Familiarity with security, data privacy, and compliance standards● Strong stakeholder communication skills● Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions● Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail● Ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesNice-to-Have● Experience with reporting tools (Workday Reports, Prism Analytics)● Exposure to AI/automation use cases in HR tech stack● 3+ years of experience with Workato or similar iPaaS tools● Prior experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
