DTFP-A Intermediate Analyst
Job Description: Position will provide support to the MDA’s Test Directorate, Consolidated Flight Test Organization in support of the test planning and execution of the Space Based Interceptor program.Candidate will conduct pre-mission analysis, mission execution support and post-mission data analyses to include:Supporting the development of post-flight Best-Estimate-Trajectories (BETs) of critical trajectory objects via integration of available truth data from telemetry, radar, and optical sourcesDevelopment of predictions for flight test data collection platformsPerform model and data analysis to include object characterization, monte-carlo trajectory simulation and trajectory data fusion to assist in post-flight test reviewsPrepare and present pre-flight and post-flight truth data planning and resultsDesired SkillsExperience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance and testingExperience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languagesGeneral knowledge of industry standard trajectory/radar/optical prediction codesUnderstanding of waveforms, polarizations and applications for radar dataEducation: BA/BS in a field pertinent to the position being filled. Three years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirementExperience: 7 years relevant experience. Experience with DoD testing desired. Experience with DoD test execution desiredClearance: Minimum Secret clearance required
