Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,136 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required. License: RRT certification must be in hand. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Description: This position involves working in a pediatric respiratory therapy setting. The schedule includes working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There is a rotation for holiday and weekend coverage; weekends are required every other week. On-call duties are not required. Clincian may float within scope to meet facility needs based on experience. This is a teaching hospital and a Magnet designated facility. The hospital has a total of 865 staffed beds and serves a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, and adolescents. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. RTO restrictions mean all requested time off must be provided upfront during the application process. The facility allows for the cancellation of one shift every two weeks. It is preferred to have Pediatric Critical Care experience, along with skills in bronchoscopy and extubation. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate effective interaction within a multidisciplinary team.
