Software Dev Engineer - Software Dev Engineer IVLocation: Westborough, MassachusettsRole OverviewYou will design and develop web-based dashboards, metrics visualizations, and user interfaces that enable service operators to monitor and manage our robotics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance operational tools that provide real-time insights and actionable data.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop web-based dashboards and metrics visualizations.Create user interfaces for monitoring and managing robotics systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable operational tools.Ensure the delivery of high-performance tools providing real-time insights and data.Required Qualifications5+ years of front-end web development experience with expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Experience designing and implementing operational dashboards and metrics visualizations for technical users.Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.Proficiency in data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts and handling time-series data.Proven experience delivering scalable, high-performance web UIs in production environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with TypeScript and query languages such as PromQL, LogQL, or CloudWatch Insights Query Language.Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies like WebSockets or Server-Sent Events and alerting systems.Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog and/or log aggregation platforms like Elasticsearch or Splunk.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
