Senior Accountant

Location: 225 Clay St, Jasper, IN, 47546, United States Job Category: Senior Accountant Employee Type: FT - Exempt Description:The Senior Accountant at Jasper Group plays a key role in today’s core accounting processes of preparing financial statements, analyzing transactions, and managing fixed assets, payroll taxes, and regulatory filings.  This position must also be eager to transition this role for the future including building integrations between systems, reducing manual entries, standardizing reconciliations, and helping improve overall close times.  The role requires general ledger accounting skills as well as experience with Excel and ERP systems, including being comfortable in structuring data, setting up imports/exports of data between systems, and reconciliation of data to source documents. RequirementsSkills: •5-10 years in accounting/finance.  •Bachelor’s degree required.  CPA or CMA preferred. •Clear, concise communication skills.  Ability to research and problem solve. •Experience with fixed asset software. •Growth mindset.  Be able to document, simplify, and automate. •Improve speed and insights while protecting internal controls. •BI exposure, database familiarity, and piloting automation tools are preferred. •Experience with API integrations and AI and AI Agent development and usage are also preferred.   Summary: Come build your future and be part of helping create the most incredible spaces in the country, wherever work and life happen.
