Packaging TechnicianLocation: Vonore, TNPay: $18.00 per hourDay Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PMNight Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AMEmployees will work a rotating schedule that provides a 3-day weekend every other weekend.AtWork Personnel is hiring Packaging Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility in Vonore, TN! This position is responsible for supporting packaging operations, production activities, material handling, and warehouse functions while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.Job SummaryThe Packaging Technician will perform a variety of manufacturing functions, including operating equipment, handling materials, preparing products for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily production operations.ResponsibilitiesOperate and support assigned packaging and production equipment.Maintain knowledge of equipment, processes, and safety procedures.Assist with receiving and unloading incoming materials.Prepare products for shipment by packing, wrapping, and staging materials.Move, organize, and store materials throughout the facility.Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.Perform basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.Maintain a clean and organized production area.Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.Work with team members to meet daily production goals.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Experience with packaging, equipment operation, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Dependable, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment.Basic computer skills and data entry experience preferred.Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety equipment.If you are looking for a stable manufacturing opportunity with room for growth, apply today with AtWork Personnel!
