Union HR Manager

Extension is seeking a Union Human Resources Manager for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI.About Our ClientEstablished, industry-leading manufacturer with a strong presence and reputation for operational excellenceFast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a large production workforceHighly visible role partnering directly with site leadership to drive culture, performance, and engagementOpportunity to make a real impact in a unionized setting with both strategic and hands-on HR involvementKey Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesAct as the strategic HR partner for the site while overseeing day-to-day HR operationsLead employee relations efforts including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminationsInterpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement, including grievance handlingPartner with leadership on workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and succession planningProvide guidance to managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practicesDrive full-cycle recruitment efforts for professional, exempt, and leadership rolesSupport performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policiesContinuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experienceDesired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required5+ years of HR experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment preferredStrong labor relations experience, including contract interpretation and grievance managementSolid knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practicesExperience supporting large-scale recruiting efforts in a manufacturing settingSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferredStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence at all levelsSalary Information$95,000 - $120,000/yearWe’re looking forward to connecting with you and helping you take the next step in your HR career!
