Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role As the team lead, full-stack developer, you will have the opportunity to see your contributions and ideas come to fruition. At FleetSoft, you are not just a number or employee code, here you are a valuable member of our team. This position will require web programming and database skills along with the ability to communicate with customers that have technical questions on the FleetSoft software. You will work with and head a team of 4 to 6 developers and technical support staff. Primary Responsibilities Contribute designs and/or code for new software features or make updates to existing software. Interpret user feedback to help the team develop ideas for improvements to our software. Build API integrations with other 3rd-party software systems. Extensively document work done and organize documentation according to dev team standards. Assist marketing and customer support with communications on new features and updates. Answer customer’s technical questions via phone and/or e-mail. Learn new technologies, tools and methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Test software functionality routinely – before and after software updates. Implement security and data protection measures. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Other responsibilities pertaining to Fleetsoft's development success. Qualities and Skills We’re Looking For: Strong writing, editing and organizational skills Excellent verbal communication skills Self-motivated Attention to detail Enthusiastic and optimistic Knowledge/Experience Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science Minimum 10 years of development experience Must have experience creating and maintaining web apps Have good knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Certification preferred) Be familiar with iOS and Android development environments a plus Ability to add apps to the Google Play Store and App Store a plus Experience with CodeOnTime Experience with Web Services, SOA and APIs Experience with Agile Methodology Experience with project management technologies like: Jira (Atlassian), Basecamp, Trello Experience and excelent level knowledge of .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL, Visual C#, ASP.net, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure, Postman Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $110,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Are you willing and able to take a drug test?
