Will also be required to perform all duties related to producing production parts as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Will be expected to perform production standard rates when producing parts. As well as performing all gauging/testing/checking ect.What You Will Do:Helps establish work priorities in conjunction with Production Supervisor. Receives assignments from Production Supervisor and then schedules the work to the assigned employees in the work center. May assist in training employees in safe and correct work procedures and performance requirements.Plans work to be performed by the group. Assists assigned personnel in resolving or identifying on-the-job technical issues.Communicates machine issues and/or downtime to maintenance technician.Provides the group with the necessary tools and supplies.Inspects 1st piece for sign off and makes periodic checks to ensure quality is maintained throughout process.Coordinates and records work performance by the group.Confirms that materials are correct for the order being processed.Verifies that SPC charts are filled out correctly.May relieve employees in the group during breaks, lunch, etc.Refers problems involving job performance to Production Supervisor for addressing disciplinary issues.Notifies Production Supervisor immediately of any materials, machines or processes that may be a safety hazard or concern.Communicates via email to Management staff shift production numbers from prior day.Other duties as assigned.What We Are Looking For:2 years of high schoolAbility to lead employees and delegate work assignments. Familiarity with machines, materials, processes, tools, measuring equipment and quality guidelines inherent for the job.Physically able to perform respective motion with fine dexterity.Basic math, reading and writing skills.Be able to plan and be self-motivated.Frequently positions and transports 45 lb. of equipment.Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.What We Offer:Vernet US offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with a pleasant and safe working environment.
