This role will play a critical part in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of optometrists, while also supporting physician sourcing initiatives across key specialties, including retina and general ophthalmology.This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and enjoys both high-volume sourcing and strategic pipeline development.Remote, MUST live in Northeast or Mid-AtlanticKey Responsibilities:Optometry Recruitment (Primary Focus)Lead sourcing and pipeline development for Optometrist (OD) hiring, with a focus on Pennsylvania and surrounding marketsProactively identify and engage candidates through job boards, outreach campaigns, and school partnershipsConduct initial candidate outreach and screening callsCoordinate interviews and manage candidate flow through the hiring processPartner with internal stakeholders to understand practice needs and align candidate profilesPhysician Sourcing & Pipeline DevelopmentSupport sourcing efforts for ophthalmologists across key specialties, including retina and general ophthalmologyBuild and maintain passive candidate pipelines for future hiring needsAssist in outreach campaigns and follow-ups to engage physician talentTrack and report on sourcing activity and pipeline progressEvents & Relationship BuildingSupport planning and execution of recruiting events, including residency and optometry school engagement (e.g., dinners, networking events)Represent ReFocus at select industry and school events (approximately 10–15% travel, quarterly)Build relationships with training programs and early-career talentQualifications:5+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience (healthcare experience preferred)Strong sourcing skills and comfort with proactive outreachHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pipelinesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsExperience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, PracticeMatch, or Doximity is a plusWillingness to travel approximately 15-20% for recruiting eventsWhy Join ReFocus Eye HealthOpportunity to play a key role in scaling a growing, multi-state ophthalmology platformDirect exposure to physician recruitment strategy and leadershipCollaborative, fast-paced environment with strong growth potential
