Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Facilities Tech I—Swing Shift” for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintains operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs
Respond to calls for assistance and minor repairs
Assist in the performance of regular preventive maintenance procedures of plant and kitchen equipment, interior and exterior cosmetic maintenance and fixture/furniture repairs.
May at times be required to assist in the landscaping maintenance
Uses knowledge of fundamental building maintenance, casino/hotel experience preferable
Possess proficiency of hand or power tools
Must be able to follow safety guidelines
Respond to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Basic reading and writing abilities
Ability to work safely with power equipment and tools
Proficient in life safety systems operation and resetting.
Must be able to understand and follow MSDS sheets
Know the location of all safety equipment how to use the safety equipment and check safety equipment.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Basic computer skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
General maintenance experience preferred
