Civil Litigation Attorney

Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense Litigation Chatsworth, CA Our Chatsworth-based civil litigation law firm, specializing in Insurance Defense Litigation, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–7 years of civil litigation experience to join our team. Responsibilities: Handle a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Conduct and defend depositions Appear in court for hearings, motions, and case management conferences Assist with and participate in trial preparation, including strategy, exhibits, and witness preparation Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case handling Qualifications: 2–7 years of experience in civil litigation (insurance defense experience preferred) Active member in good standing with the California State Bar Strong legal writing and analytical skills Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience preferred Ability to manage deadlines independently while working collaboratively with a team Professional, reliable, and client-focused Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $110,000 – $160,000 annually, depending on experience, Quarterly bonus (based on performance) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Profit sharing plan Paid time off, including vacation and holidays Supportive, family-friendly workplace with an emphasis on work/life balance If you are a litigation attorney seeking a firm that values strong advocacy, teamwork, and life outside the office, we encourage you to apply.
