Senior Engineer - PCB and LabVIEW

Role is based in Nashville, TNThis role requires strong hands-on electronics and LabVIEW capability and the ability to take systems from concept to prototype to deployment.Core Responsibilities- PCB and circuit design using KiCAD or similar, DAQ, and electronic systems (schematic, layout, power, signal integrity, noise, wiring harness)- Embedded systems / microcontroller programming (firmware, sensor interfacing, Arduino, communications: Serial, Modbus, UART, TCP etc)- Develop instrument control and data acquisition systems using LabVIEW- Autodesk Inventor for Mechanical design of enclosures, components, and assemblies- WITSML for data export/import- Lead and mentor junior engineersExample projects include:- Gas sensors from off the shelf sensor elements such electrochemical, NDIR, MIR, TCD, CCD, gas chromatographs (GC)- Gas and rock sampling systems- Automation and control systems (relays, valves, pumps, detectors, pneumatics, imaging)- Integrate and automate analytical instruments such as XRFMust-Have Skills- PCB and circuit design- LabVIEWEducation and ExperienceA Bachelors degree in Engineering and 5 years' work experience in electronics and LabVIEW.Bonus Experience- Oil and gas experience- Analytical instrumentation (GC, FID, mass spec, XRF, Porosity/Permeability, Imaging Systems etc.)- Autodesk Inventor CAD
