As Director of UX Design, you will shape how users experience and interact with Strider’s platform—transforming complex geopolitical data into clear, actionable insights.This role sits at the intersection of design, product, and intelligence. You will define and drive the user experience vision across Strider’s products, lead strategic design initiatives, and elevate design as a core capability within the organization. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Intelligence teams to ensure our platform is intuitive, scalable, and impactful for global users.What You'll DoUX Strategy & LeadershipDefine and drive the vision for user experience across Strider’s platform, aligning design strategy with company and product prioritiesLead high-impact, complex design initiatives from concept through executionEstablish and evolve design standards, frameworks, and systems to ensure consistency and scalabilityProduct & Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Intelligence teams to shape product direction and define new capabilitiesTranslate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into cohesive product experiencesFacilitate alignment across stakeholders, ensuring clarity on priorities, trade-offs, and outcomesDesign Execution & CraftDeliver high-quality interaction design, workflows, and data visualizations that simplify complex intelligence insightsElevate the overall product experience through thoughtful, user-centered design decisionsContribute to and scale Strider’s design system to support consistency across productsUser Research & InsightLead user research efforts to better understand customer needs, workflows, and pain pointsSynthesize insights into actionable recommendations that inform product and design strategyFoster a culture of continuous learning through feedback, testing, and iterationTeam Development & InfluenceMentor and support designers, helping to grow design capability across the organizationAdvocate for design as a strategic function within StriderInfluence product and business decisions through strong design perspective and communicationQualifications8+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or related disciplines, including experience leading large-scale or complex design initiativesProven experience defining and driving UX strategy across multiple products or product areasExperience leading cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end user experiencesStrong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, systems thinking, and data visualization in complex applicationsExperience conducting and applying user research to inform product and design decisionsAbility to translate complex concepts into intuitive, user-centered experiencesExperience managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience building or scaling design systems across a product organizationExperience designing agentic & AI-native experiencesExperience designing for data-rich, analytical, or enterprise platformsExperience leading or mentoring designers and contributing to team developmentProficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma or similar)Additional InformationThis role offers the opportunity to define how users engage with complex geopolitical intelligence at scale.
