This role will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAPSupervise and mentor accounting staff (AP, AR, and Staff Accountants)Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadershipMaintain and improve internal controls and accounting proceduresPartner with operations on inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing metricsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisCoordinate with external auditors and support audit processesEnsure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturingPrior supervisory or management experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principlesExperience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)Advanced Excel skillsCPA or MBA is a plus
