PeopleSoft Financials Technical/Functional Consultant

Total Required Experience in Years: 10+ YearsMode of Work: HybridJob DescriptionThese consultants will participate as Financial Center of Excellence (FCOE) CORE Team members and may serve in both lead and support roles across multiple statewide implementation and support initiatives.The State has accelerated the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials Phase II modules across numerous agencies, creating a need for highly skilled resources capable of supporting statewide configuration standards, business processes, and financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate as a core member of the FCOE team supporting statewide PeopleSoft Financials initiatives.Support and lead PeopleSoft implementation projects across multiple state agencies.Provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Financials modules.Maintain statewide configuration standards and ensure compliance with statewide accounting procedures.Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle support teams, and agency stakeholders.Design, configure, and support business processes within PeopleSoft Financials.Develop and maintain workflow documentation and process designs.Support Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense business processes and implementations.Update user manuals, SOPs, job aids, training guides, and operational documentation.Develop test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, and configuration documents.Perform production support activities for PeopleSoft Financials modules.Assist with PeopleSoft Financials PUM upgrades, patch testing, and issue resolution.Maintain and support PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) scripts and automated testing processes.Identify project risks, issues, and obstacles and provide recommendations to leadership.Ensure compliance with State of Oklahoma accounting policies, procedures, and standards.Additional ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with agencies and technical teams to resolve functional and technical issues.Participate in system enhancement, maintenance, and upgrade activities.Support statewide business process improvements and modernization initiatives.Assist with user acceptance testing and production deployment activities.Provide knowledge transfer and end-user support when required.Required SkillsStrong experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and PUM 53.Expertise in the following PeopleSoft Financials modules:GrantsProject CostingContractsAccounts ReceivableBillingAccounts PayableTravel & ExpenseTreasuryGeneral LedgerCommitment ControlAsset ManagementExperience translating business requirements into technical specifications.Strong functional and technical troubleshooting capabilities.Experience with:Component InterfacesSQRApplication EnginePeopleCodePeopleToolsSQL DeveloperBI PublisherExperience supporting enterprise PeopleSoft Financials production environments.Strong testing, documentation, and training experience.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsState government experience.State of Oklahoma experience.Experience supporting statewide ERP implementations.Experience with the latest PeopleSoft PUM images.Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).Experience working with Oracle support and System Integrators.QualificationsProven experience supporting large-scale PeopleSoft Financials environments.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.EducationBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.Equivalent professional experience may be considered.CertificationsPeopleSoft Financials Certifications (Preferred)Oracle Certifications (Preferred)Number Of Positions3 OpeningsWork ScheduleFull-Time40 Hours Per WeekMonday through FridayTarget Start DateJuly 1, 2026Interview ProcessOnly highly qualified candidates meeting all business requirements will be considered for interviews.
