Read below for more information What You'll Do as the Laser Weld Operator: Perform hand Laser welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel materials utilizing precise heat control and filler metal to create strong and aesthetically appealing weldsClean and prepare aluminum and mild steel surfaces for welding, removing any contaminants or impurities that could affect the quality of the weldExamine and verify the integrity of aluminum, mild steel, or stainless-steel materials to ensure they meet the required quality standards before weldingSet up and adjust welding equipment, including selecting the appropriate TIG welding torch, gas flow, and amperage, based on the thickness and type of materials being weldedInspect finished welds for defects and discontinuities, using visual inspection and non-destructive testing methods as required to ensure the product being manufactured is meeting required specificationsWork with a variety of welding joint configurations, such as butt joints, lap joints, and fillet welds, depending on the project's specificationsAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing Light Laser welding, ensuring compliance with company and industry safety regulationsSafely handle and move aluminum materials and welded components during the welding processMonitor the manufacturing process to maintain a steady workflow and promptly address any deviations or inefficiencies.
