With competitive compensation and a supportive work environment, this position offers both professional growth and job satisfaction.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $35-$45 (based on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payOnsite clinic for convenient access to healthcare servicesSupport for ongoing professional development and certification trainingKey ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Repair:Install and repair water, gas, air, and drain piping systems.Install and repair water heaters, domestic hot water boilers, circulating pumps, backflow preventers, and thermostatic mixing valves.Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of cast iron, steel, brass, PVC, and copper.Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints.Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and hot water storage tanks.Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform drain cleaning and maintenance tasks.Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.Maintain good customer relations by communicating clearly, leaving work areas clean and orderly, and addressing customer concerns promptly.Safety & Compliance:Observe job sites and report and correct any unsafe working conditions.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.QualificationsValid state driver's license and ability to pass an MVR checkAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningAbility to climb ladders and work from heights in excess of 4 feetStrong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructionsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsEffective communication skills via telephone to customers and dispatchEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceJourneyman's or Master license preferred; experienced apprentices consideredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to adjust focus for close-up work, with or without correctionAbility to pass a physical ability testEqual Opportunity Employer Statement:We are dedicated to building an inclusive and equitable workplace.
