Job DescriptionShift 1 coverage is from 6am - 3pm. Expected hours: ~60 hours/week on averagePerforms the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.Primarily data entry-focused role within a warehouse environmentWork cross-functionally with internal teamsSupport shipping/receiving processes as neededOccasional light physical work (not heavy-lifting focused; packers handle most physical tasks)QualificationsStrong data entry and computer skillsExperience with ExcelGood communication skills (email, cross-team coordination via Outlook)Prior warehouse experience (2+ years preferred)Dependable, proactive, and willing to learnExposure to SAP (not required, basic familiarity is sufficient)Prior shipping/receiving experience desired Open to various industry backgrounds (not limited to manufacturing)Warehouse experience is prioritized over management/ERP-heavy backgroundsCandidates with long-term commitment and reliabilityCalifornia Fair Chance ActSynectics Inc. will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
