Senior Associate Attorney

ASSOCIATE LITIGATION ATTORNEY* *Sutter O’Connell is dedicated to fearless representation and unwavering client advocacy. We represent globally recognized brands in various industries and have tried, defended, or supervised cases in over 40 states. The firm seeks talented attorneys who are proficient in managing cases from inception through jury trial. Candidates should possess strong skills in investigation, drafting pleadings, preparing motions, maintaining client contact, developing expert witnesses, and managing discovery. *Prepare for, conduct, and attend hearings, depositions, and draft pleadings, discovery and motions as well as mediations and trials/arbitrations. · Draft pleadings, motions and briefs. · Analyze, evaluate, synthesize and research case law, statutes, regulations and documents impacting the firm’s clients. · Conduct legal research regarding complex procedural and substantive issues. · Organize and manage documents from multiple sources in the court of multidistrict and other complex litigation. · Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities. · Work within a team and support peer associates. · Committed to excellent customer service. · Proficient with legal research tools, including Westlaw and LexisNexis. · 5-8 years of private firm litigation experience. · Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills.
