This position is based out of the Astound's Garberville, CA office.Residential and Commercial install, service/repair, and disconnects* (data, video, phone) on customer premisesCustomer educationParticipation in a 24/7 on-call rotation2+ years experience as a technician in the telecommunications industry (6+ months satisfactory metrics with Hybrid Fiber- Coaxial (HFC) network experience preferred)~ Proficiency in problem-solving, time management, and basic computer skills~ Experience with power tools, reading and interpreting NIMS and AutoCAD maps~ Must possess a working knowledge of phone/IP networks and POS systems, and ability to effectively communicate the differentiation~ Strong customer service skills~ Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record compliant with the company policy~ Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent401k retirement plan, with employer match~ Insurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance~ Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year~ Paid Holidays: 7 days per year~ Paid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws~ Tuition reimbursement program ( after 1 year of employment up to $4,000.00 per calendar year)~ Benefits listed above are for regular full-time positionsThe base salary range in California for this position, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable, is:~ Broadband Technician Lead: $26.80 - $37.52 per hourPaid TrainingTake care of our customers* Take care of each other* We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees and applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender, pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information, military or veteran status, citizenship, or other status or characteristic protected by applicable law.
