Mechanic

POSITION SUMMARYThe mechanic will be responsible for inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of construction equipment and vehicles and other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInspects, diagnoses, and services company equipment and vehicles.Examines equipment and oversees diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.Performs other related duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.Two years of experience in a similar role and trade certification is preferred.Thorough knowledge of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical one-line diagrams with an ability to read and understand their diagrams.Capable of taking direction and working in a team environment.Strong attention to detail with a desire to problem solve.WORK ENVIRONMENTPrimarily a mechanic shop environment.
