We're Hiring: - Accounting Department Manager/Assistant ControllerLocation: Kingfisher, OKPosted: May 15, 2026Application Deadline: June 16, 2026Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc is seeking a driven, strategic and experienced Accounting and Capital Credits Manager to oversee its financial accounting operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FCC Part 32/64 accounting rules. The role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who is an effective communicator that embraces ownership, critical thinking, and developing strong teams while supporting the company's mission and strategic plan. A bachelor's degree in accounting is required to be considered for this position.This is a full-time, exempt position with standard hours of 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and occasional after-hours or weekend responsibilities.This position is eligible to work remotely, however that will be limited to 1-2 days per week after completion of training. Training timeframe TBD.What You Will DoAs the Accounting Manager, you'll guide all Accounting and Capital Credit operations while managing and developing an accounting team.
