Job DescriptionJob TitleSenior Network Engineer (Cisco & Palo Alto)Overview / SummarySeeking a skilled Network Administrator Consultant to support and strengthen daily Network Operations Center (NOC) operations. Reporting to the NOC Manager, this role will serve as a technical point of reference for the NOC team and work on complex assignments requiring independent judgment in troubleshooting, recommendations, and implementing changes with minimal supervision.The position is responsible for managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a statewide network infrastructure utilizing technologies including Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor network performance, support cybersecurity compliance efforts, and maintain optimal network connectivity in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of networking productsTroubleshoot network failures and identify network-related issuesSupport network analysis, design, installation, configuration, and maintenanceMaintain network diagrams and related network documentationProvide configuration support, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionTroubleshoot and remediate issues within a complex voice-integrated infrastructureMonitor network performance and ensure efficient communication across the networkReview and improve security compliance through cybersecurity best practicesImplement updates and changes to maintain secure version compliance and connectivityCollaborate across multiple technical teams in a fast-paced environmentProvide knowledge transfer and informal training to peers when appropriateRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls10+ years of experience with Cisco routers10+ years of experience with Cisco switches10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN10+ years of experience with Cisco administration5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDRBachelor’s Degree OR four years of relevant experience in addition to the required years of experiencePreferred Qualifications10+ years of experience with monitoring and tracing tools10+ years of experience in core network architecture10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching4+ years of experience with wireless networks3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructureCCNA certificationCCNP certificationWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
