Audio Visual Technician

Unified Communications Technician | Contract | Silver Springs, VA We're seeking an experienced Unified Communications Technician for a leading global media & entertainment company's Washington, DC office. This is a great opportunity for an AV/UC professional to own the audiovisual, video teleconferencing, and telephony experience for a fast-paced, high-visibility corporate environment — including live event production and executive-level meeting support Location: Silver Springs, VA (onsite — no remote) Contract Length: 1 year, Start Date: August 20 26 Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional OT possib Support and manage AV, VTC, and phone systems across the organization Oversee in-house AV equipment in conference rooms Manage IPTV systems throughout the office Serve as lead technical contact for major live events — setup, execution, and troubleshooting Administer Zoom Phone and other unified communications tools Provide design recommendations and guidance for AV/UC systems Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for UC systems Handle digital signage requests and platform managem ent Experience 3+ years of experience with Zoom and Teams AV, phone, and event support (AV engineer, camera operator, or similar Knowledge of AV devices/systems such as Crestron and Logitech 3+ years of experience with digital signage platforms (AppSpace, Populo, BrightSign, or similar 3+ years of room installation experience and familiarity with updating AV technologies Nice-to-Have Passion for and knowledge of the media, entertainment, and technology industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
