About the RolePinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for an SQL Server DBA to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This person will evaluate and improve the company’s current environment and existing database structure.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate uses and instances of SQL Server to determine if they are structured in the best and most efficient ways, and make necessary changes to improveEvaluate schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in the environment to find improvementsAssess features being used within the SQL Server platform, and identify capabilities that bring value that are not currently being usedWork with both on-prem and Azure cloud instances of SQL databasesPerform operational DBA tasks including upgrades, general maintenance, and ensuring logins are secureRequirements:Mid-Sr level SQL Server DBA experienceExposure to both on-prem and cloud SQL Server databasesExperience with SQL tasks like triggers, functions, stored procedures, and schemasAbility to evaluate existing SQL data structures to make improvementsPreferred:Bachelor’s degreeAI experience to find ways to expedite tasksBenefits Overview:Medical, dental and vision401(k)Generous PTO
