Litigation Attorney (Florida-Licensed) Remote | South Florida | Competitive Compensation + BonusWe are a boutique, litigation-focused personal injury law firm seeking an experiencedlitigation attorneyto join our team. This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants increasing responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and long-term growth in a fast-paced environment. We care about excellence and accountability.The Role You will handle cases from inception through resolution with hands‐on responsibility (with oversight and assistance from other lawyers). These functions include the following:Investigate when a case comes inDraft the complaintDraft and pursue discoveryDraft and manage motionsTake depositionsArgue motionsWork directly with clientsCollaborate closely with partners on litigation strategyCommunicate with our partners, clients, referring attorneys, defense counselThis is aprimarily remote position . Candidates must reside in South Florida and be available for occasional in-person meetings, hearings, or proceedings. To stay aligned, our legal team meets daily via Zoom to coordinate priorities and workflow. We mentor through daily Zoom meetings, meetings with Jack Hickey and other partners, prescribed books, our own policies and procedures, trial lawyer webinars, trial lawyer seminars, and other programs.Who We're Looking For RequiredLicensed to practice law inFloridaAt least 5 years in practice, with a minimum of 3 years in civil litigationStrong research and writing skillsDemonstrated ability to manage casesProfessional judgment, responsiveness, and attention to detailAcademic Credentials (Required)Undergraduate degree earnedwith honorsLaw degree earned from a law school ranked in theTop 50in the USLaw degree earnedwith honorsfrom a law school ranked in the Top 100Law degree earnedwith high honorsfrom a law schoolnotin the Top 100Strongly Valued (but not required)Clerkship with a Federal Judge or Magistrate JudgeFederal court experienceExperience with complex civil litigationSignificant motion practice and courtroom exposureAttorneys with experience at the U.S. Attorney's Office or Federal Public DefenderLitigators from boutique or high‐quality defense firms seeking more challenging casesLongevity (3+ years) in prior attorney positionsThat said, there is no single "correct" background — we care about skill, judgment, and work ethic.What This Role OffersMeaningful litigation responsibility (not just research or drafting)Primarily remote workBase salary $170,000+ (depending upon whether your qualifications meet or exceed the criteria described here)Performance‐based bonus structureOpportunity for long‐term growth within the firmCollegial, fast‐paced professional environment focused on qualityBenefits: Packages for lawyers are $12,686 to $23,524/year (health insurance, 401(k), long‐term disability plan (LTD), dues and subscriptions to The Florida Bar and other bar associations, seminars, webinars, maternity/paternity leave).
