Refrigeration Technician

We are currently seeking a candidate for a full - time Refrigeration Technician in a fast paced, well respected and thriving company. The role of the Refrigeration Technician is to assemble and install new refrigeration systems for use on Polar King Walk – in coolers & freezers as the final step in production. Job Duties · Assemble and install refrigeration systems as part of the new production process. · Ability to troubleshoot and solve installation issues. · Possess organizational skills necessary to document system components and other installation specific details. · Ability to read manuals, follow written directions and adapt knowledge to various customized refrigeration specifications, as per customer requirement. · Functional knowledge of electrical work. · Above average mechanical aptitude. · HVAC certification is preferred. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience working in HVAC/R field repair or installation. Experience in mechanical systems calculations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to conduct research independently, be prepared to continually learn and adapt to new practices. Strong electrical understanding. Physical duties Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Regularly lift and/or move 15 pounds. Frequently life and/or move 30 pounds. Occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds.
