Experience in the grounds field.Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the grounds field.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have knowledge of best practices in landscaping and plant care. Must be able to operate equipment used in grounds maintenance. Must have good communication skills.Duties Include, But Are Not Limited ToInstalls and maintains landscape beds.Assists with greenhouse and nursery growing operations.Installs and maintains pots, hanging baskets, and other floral installations.Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, venders, visitors and the community at large utilizing positive communication skills and established protocols.Building/ Grounds Specialist II (KA10/61122705/FTE-S01143P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: GEN04. Minimum starting salary is $31,200.00.
