Project Manager
The Project Manager will work with the Senior Project Manager and other members of the Engineering and Operations Teams to develop the industry’s premiere design team, industry-leading designs, features, benefits and industry-leading development timelines and responsiveness for this market, including participating in business development efforts to establish a loyal customer base, and drive revenue growth. Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Design in SolidWorks custom case/tray projects for our customers.Contribute to the specifications of The Company’s designs, features, benefits and overall product offeringsHelp to establish and continually enhance a solid and loyal customer base through superior responsiveness and industry-leading design development and…Be available to, and be actively involved with the Company’s operations, quality, and sales teams to ensure the continued successful operation of the company and that the Company is consistently meeting (if not exceeding) the customers’ expectationsParticipate on an as-needed basis in sales visits (to and from customers), and trade shows Project ManagementLead the end-to-end development of orthopedic sterilization cases and trays, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Coordinate efforts between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer service teams.Maintain and update detailed project timelines.Track and report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Design & EngineeringCreate and review 3D models and drawings for cases, lids, caddies, and trays using Onshape and SolidWorks.Facilitate internal reviews before releasing designs.Oversee design iterations based on customer feedback, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing constraints.Ensure proper material selection, manufacturing feasibility, and compliance with sterilization and packaging standards.Change ManagementManage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, including documentation, tracking, and implementation.Ensure timely and accurate incorporation of design updates, BOM changes, and drawing revisions.Customer EngagementServe as the primary engineering point of contact for customer accounts during development.Create design presentations and conduct collaborative working sessions to gather customer input and secure approval for each phase of the design process.Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and actionable engineering tasks.Documentation & ComplianceGenerate and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and revision history.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for design and process improvements to reduce cost, improve usability, and enhance performance.Contribute to the development and refinement of internal engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
