Commercial Construction Project Manager

We’re recruiting for a Commercial Construction Project Manager opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our client is open to both Project Manager and Senior Project Manager level candidates, depending on experience.Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates interested in moving to the Fort Wayne area.This is a growth-related opportunity with an established design-build construction firm focused on commercial and industrial projects, including educational facilities, churches, and other non-residential construction. Residential construction experience alone will not be a fit.The Project Manager will lead construction projects from planning through closeout, working closely with clients, field leaders, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget.Responsibilities IncludeManage commercial and industrial construction projects from kickoff through completionServe as a key contact for clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadershipBuild and maintain project schedules, budgets, change orders, billing documents, and project recordsReview drawings, scopes of work, contracts, specifications, and project requirementsLead project meetings, track progress, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informedMonitor subcontractor performance, job costs, safety, quality, and complianceSupport, mentor, and coordinate project teams to drive accountability and resultsQualifications IncludeHands-on commercial or industrial construction project management experienceBackground with a commercial design-build contractor strongly preferredExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Timberline/Sage preferredStrong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and documentationAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and contractsStrong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skillsDegree in construction management, engineering, civil engineering, or a related field preferredBenefits IncludePerformance bonus opportunityStrong medical premium contributionPaid vacation and wellness time401(k) match with immediate vestingTake-home vehicleEducation reimbursementBusiness expense and mileage reimbursementCareer growth opportunityApply today to learn more about this Fort Wayne-based commercial construction opportunity.
