Scientist I-II (In Vivo)

Job Responsibilities· Help to plan and execute mouse in vivo studies including immunizations, titer check and efficacy testing · Generate and maintain mammalian cell lines for internal and external projects· Perform mammalian cell transfections, lentivirus productions and transductions · Perform flow cytometry for binding assays, immunophenotyping and cell-based functional assays· Perform ELISA/MSD to determine antibody titers in immunized mice and to quantify cytokine levels in cell supernatants from primary cell-based functional assays· Perform in vitro assays, including primary human immune cell isolation, culture and differentiation· Conduct independent data analysis contributing to scientific discussion and presentations· Collaborate with other team members to support internal and external projectsPosition Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in biology or a similar discipline· 2+ years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology· 1+ years of hands-on experience working with mice, especially euthanasia & tissue collection· Some experience or knowledge of flow cytometry and ELISA is highly desired· Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively· Excellent organization/planning skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously · Quick ability to learn scientific knowledge and experimental techniques · Diligent, self-motivated, independent and strong sense of responsibility· Good interpersonal skills for building relationships across functions internally and externally
