Failure Analysis Technician

Philips is seeking a hands-on Failure Analysis TechnicianIn this role, you have the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting our Post-Market Surveillance team by investigating returned consumer healthcare products and identifying root causes of product failures. This role is heavily lab-based and ideal for candidates with experience in electronics troubleshooting, testing, repair, or technical investigations.Your Role:Performs failure analysis on returned devices related to complaint allegations.Works with limited supervision, escalating issues to superiors as needed, and develops a substantial understanding of relevant regulations, requirements, and standards.Aids to implement procedures and protocols, ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP) and good documentation practices (GDP).Provides support towards the execution of validation protocols and failure analysis testing methods for new products and processes.Engages in continuous learning and on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge.Ensures the quality of own work by conducting checks and taking responsibility for the accuracy of work.You're the right fit if:You have experience with Root Cause AnalysisGood technical understanding of PCB's electronicsInstall repair work (power tooth brushes etc.)Curiosity as to why product is failing and solving the issueWhat you’ll gain:When you choose to work at Philips you’ll work on life-changing projects; and contribute to innovative health technologies and solutions that improve lives around the world.
