As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsCollaborates with technical experts, key stakeholders, and team members to resolve complex problems Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectEngages with Technology Controls organization to ensure tooling and ecosystem meets the Firm’s rigorous cyber policiesCoaches team members, encourage acquisition of new skills, and be directly accountable for specific software solution outcomesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceAdvanced experience developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies preferably Java, Python, Shell scriptingHands-on practical experience in performance engineering and monitoring using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Apica, Jmeter and Blaze meter etc.Proficiency in with configuration Management tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef/PowerShellProven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex problems under pressureAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with Cloud Infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure
