Position Overview:
Own complex full-stack initiatives while mentoring engineers and helping shape technical direction. Senior Engineers are expected to engineer solutions, challenge assumptions, and drive technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions.
Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
Develop APIs and complex integrations.
Own production quality, monitoring, and operational improvements.
Collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams.
Technical Environment:
Java and Kotlin (primary strategic languages).Legacy C#/.NET applications undergoing modernization.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript for UI customization.
REST APIs and distributed systems.
Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
AWS (EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, IAM, monitoring).CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years software engineering.
Strong Java/Kotlin.
AWS and infrastructure experience.
REST APIs and SQL Server.
Automated testing.
Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GraphQL and microservices.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).Experience working with globally distributed engineering organizations.
Experience supporting large-scale production systems.
