Maintenance Technician - Nights
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across the manufacturing plant. This role collaborates closely with production and quality teams to ensure continuous operation and timely repairs.Night Shift: 6pm - 6amPrimary ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipmentWork closely with production and quality teams to maintain production outputProvide resources and support to help the engineering team execute projects efficiently throughout the plantOperation, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systemsFabrication of components, tools and equipmentExecute and complete PM (Preventative Maintenance) work without production interruption as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and LeadDirect actions as necessary to ensure safetyMaintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); work order entry, completions, requisitions, inventoryUtilize SAP for completing Purchase requisitionsProfile5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experienceExperience working on and around Sanitary SystemsExperience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment working with pumps, gearboxes, and steam trapsExperience fabricating components, tools, and equipment; Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)Boiler Experience – Blue or Black Seal Boiler License is a plusDesire and ability to learn about new and existing processing systemsAbility to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at elevated heightsFood Manufacturing and GMP Environment Experience preferredAbility to work on electrical systems preferred; motors, drives, PLC’s, temperature, flow and other control instruments and devices Stainless Steel and Sanitary Welding skills is a plusStrong communication skillsLooking for a Career for Good?Puratos is a global purpose-driven company focused on bringing people together through food innovation for good.
