Hospitalist Physician

Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full time MD/DO Nocturnist Hospitalist. For this role we are seeking a physician with experience in a Hospitalist practice position.The team will review exceptional applicants who are new to practice.Full time -180 shifts annually / 15 shifts per month7 on - 7 off schedule 12 Hour night shifts 8:00 pm to 8:00 am3 shifts to vary amongst Day Admitter or Rounder OR NightsTwo Dedicated Nocturnists and Two Dedicated Advanced Practice ProvidersWe also have PRN Physicians who can help with NightsNights are BUSY - Average 10 admission and can flex up to 12+ based on patient need and seasonalityAPC Support with floor calls and admissionsVaried and complex pathology Closed Medical ICUOption to perform procedures but not requiredResidents run codes and RRTsExceptionally Positive and collaborative team cultureCommunity volunteer opportunitiesPrecepting opportunities with training cliniciansEPIC EMRHospitalist team includes MD's and APC's working togetherStrong preference for 2 to 3 years of hospitalist experienceWe're a very harmonious team and work family- no matter the role, all are treated equally.
